3. Change the liquid regularly and ensure that the wick is well soaked.
4. If you’re not going to use the lamp for an extended period, remove the wick and stone to store them properly.
Why is my catalytic lamp not lighting or staying on?
A catalytic lamp may not light or stay on due to:
- Blocked or worn stone: Accumulation of residue on the stone can block combustion. Replacing it usually solves the problem.
- Insufficient wick impregnation: Wait 20 minutes after adding the liquid to ensure the wick is properly soaked.
